Perhaps you have been toying with the idea of becoming a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator? Would you like to chat to other radio operators all over the world, or link computers by radio, or run your own home TV station, or experiment with radio equipment?

The Club runs classes to help you obtain a Foundation, Standard or Advanced Amateur Licence. These are run at minimal cost to encourage newcomers to the hobby. The Foundation License classes are typically run once a month, and run for two days, with assesment carried out at the end of the second day if you are ready. Other classes are run as demand dictates. See the News page for dates of upcoming courses.
